Susanna G. Cuccia, CPA – Susanna is a Manager with the Firm. She has in excess of 17 years of experience providing audit, tax and consulting services to a variety of clients including real estate management companies and not-for-profit entities. Her experience primarily focuses on auditing regulated real estate including the construction and development of low-income housing and low-income housing tax credit entities as well as not-for-profit organizations. Prior to entering public accounting, Ms. Cuccia worked as an accountant at a not-for-profit organization. She has a degree in Political Science from Claremont McKenna College and an accounting certificate from the University of Virginia.
Marina Segura – Marina is a Manager with the Firm. She has in excess of 15 years of experience providing audit services to a variety of clients including real estate entities, employee benefit plans, hospitality, and investment managers. She is from Mexico and received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Universidad Simon Bolivar, Mexico City. She began her audit career with Deloitte and then moved to Pricewaterhouse Coopers where she became audit manager. Most recently, prior to joining KPG, she was advising clients in the process of internal audits.
Carl Sergi – Carl is a Principal with the Firm. He has in excess of 30 years of public accounting experience providing tax services including planning, compliance and representation before the Internal Revenue Service and other agencies. Carl’s experience includes corporate taxation (regular C-Corp, S-Corp), estate, gift, fiduciary, individual, and partnership taxation. He services real estate developers (homebuilders, commercial and residential), real estate operators and lessors, professional service corporations, restaurants, and wholesale and retail trades.
